Our hours of operation are by typically by appointments only. Should you have a dental emergency, we will make every effort to see and care and for you as soon as possible (most of the times, on the same day).
WE ACCEPT MOST MAJOR INSURANCES including but not limited to SOME LOCAL UNION PLANS, SUFFOLK COUNTY and NEW YORK STATE EMPLOYEES BENEFIT PLANS. We also accept some DISCOUNTED DENTAL PLANS. For more information, please contact our office at (631)758-6162.
However, your insurance and benefits are your responsibility! Please call and verify that your insurance benefits are current and active. It is your responsibility to ensure that your insurance benefits are understood and your annual maximum has not been used at another general dentist office!
We welcome and encourage frank discussion of service and fees prior to treatment in order to avoid any misunderstandings. The financial obligations for the treatment we render to you are your responsibility. However, we will be pleased to assist you in providing the appropriate information for submission to your insurance company for reimbursements.
PAYMENT FOR SERVICES RENDERED IS DUE AT THE TIME OF SERVICE. You may pay by credit or debit card (Visa, Mastercard, and Discover), check (with a valid drivers license), or cash. For additional assistance, please ask about financing.
There will be a billing charge for accounts delinquent past 60 days and the patient will be charged a service charge of 1.5% per month until the account is paid in full. If the account goes into default and is turned over to collections, the patient will be responsible for any additional charges incurred due to collection agency or legal fees.

- $0.75 per page for chart copies
- $10 billing charge if payment is not made the day of the visit, unless prior arrangements have been made.
Your Right to Privacy, Our Promise of Security
What information does our office collect upon registration, and how is this information used?Advanced Dental Care collects names and email addresses at registration. You may register at your doctor’s office or online. If you register online via your doctor’s web site, you will need to provide your birth date and your next appointment date or the amount of your last payment. This information is used to verify your identity and register you to use the web site and to send you requested email notices.
Your account information
Dentrix can access your doctor’s database of patient information. As a result, Dentrix will know your name, birth date, appointment history, phone number(s), address, future appointments, payment information, and health insurance information (“Account Information“). Dentrix can use your Account Information to automatically generate postcards and email notices to you about appointments and other information from your doctor. Account Information includes information about dependents if you are financially responsible for the account. You can also view your Account Information on a password-protected, secure patient site by clicking on the “Online Registration” button on your doctor’s web site.
The server automatically gathers traffic data about users using Dentrix. This traffic data does not personally identify you to anyone outside the office. We may periodically analyze the server logs to optimize web site navigation, help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer your doctor’s web site. Dentrix and Advanced Dental Care will never disclose, sell, trade, or assign any information about you and your dependents to third parties, such as mailing houses, insurance companies, market research firms, or advertisers.
Do you collect information from children?
Dentrix and Advanced Dental Care strictly adheres to the federal regulations enacted to implement the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”). We collect only the most limited amount of information necessary to provide the service to all users, including children. We will never disclose, sell, trade, or assign any information about you or your child to third parties, such as mailing houses, insurance companies, market research firms, or advertisers.
How does Advanced Dental Care and Dentrix protect my information from loss, misuse, or alteration?
We employ security measures that are consistent with industry standards to protect the loss, misuse, or alteration of information about users our service that is under our control.
Any connections to your Account Information from your doctor’s web site will be made through a secure connection that is validated by specific information (such as birthdate) . All information transferred during every session, including your Account Information, will be encrypted using Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology. In addition, your Account Information will be encrypted when stored in the Dentrix database. To ensure that your sessions are encrypted, look for the “https” in your browser’s address bar before or the browser’s “secure site” icon during your session. If you do not see the “https” (be sure to look for the “s” following “http”) or the secure server icon , log in to the patient web site again.
The web site administrators continuously review the integrity of our security measures. In addition, we limit employee access to your Account Information on a “need to know” basis. Only employees with a valid business reason related to providing the Service will have access to your Account Information. We train all of our employees about the importance of confidentiality and about our policies and technology regarding privacy and security. Each employee has a password that is required to access account information.
Can I opt out of providing information to Advanced Dental Care?
You can choose not to use our online service by NOT entering any info into the system. If you ask your doctor to block your record, none of your personal information will be available on the Internet.
However your information will always be in our office database...only accessible to employees with proper user id and password.
Can I change my information or discontinue the Service?
You can change or remove your email address by asking your doctor’s office. You cannot change your Account Information through Dentrix. If you would like to make changes to your Account Information, call your doctor’s office directly to alert them to any changes that should be made to the Account Information stored in your doctor’s database.
